Leaks surrounding the announcement of "Overwatch 2" during BlizzCon 2019 have been proven accurate. Blizzard indeed launches the much talked about the title and introduced new features, new modes, gameplay, and new maps. But, if the recent report is accurate, it seems that Blizzard missed out on four new heroes coming to the much-awaited sequel.
The new report claims that "Overwatch 2" will have four new unannounced heroes that will arrive in the game. These four new heroes do not include Sojourn, who has been confirmed to be a playable character in the game, or Echo, who has been rumored to be in the upcoming sequel. The report comes from the site Game Informer, which had the chance to be invited at Blizzard's office and was shown a special "Overwatch 2" presentation.
Blizzard reportedly has 13 updated character designs with Doomfist as the latest to get the new design treatment, reveals Game Informer. Moreover, the site shares that it was also teased by Blizzard about the new "Overwatch 2" heroes. During the special presentation, the site notes that there are four silhouettes shown for the four brand new heroes of the game.
Out of the four new characters, three of them are female heroes with the male hero seemingly holding a crooked staff. The staff suggests that he could be a warlock, a wizard, or a voodoo priest. The other female hero has short hair with something like a small critter beside her.
The critter reportedly looks like a fennec fox with an aggressive stance instead of a cuddly one and with longer ears. This female hero wields a massive four-sided weapon that resembles a lot like a melee weapon. At this point, it is not yet clear if these four new unannounced heroes aside from Echo and Sojourn are the only ones to be added into "Overwatch 2" or if it has prepared more heroes coming soon.
Stand Together.

Jeff Kaplan recently stated that he has no idea about the release date of "Overwatch 2" but he is certain that at BlizzCon 2020 he would still be talking about "Overwatch 2." We suggest taking this information with a pinch of salt and with great skepticism since these are not from Blizzard. The upcoming title is rumored to arrive in 2020 and anticipated be released on Sony's next generation gaming consoe, the PlayStation 5.
