Valentine's Day is usually a time for couples to spend some quality time together. But what can single SEVENTEEN fans do on this special day? The official SEVENTEEN YouTube channel made sure Carats wouldn't feel lonely on February 14 by posting an awesome new video. In the sweet clip, members Hoshi, Wonwoo, and DK play the ideal boyfriends any girl would want to have.
The clip titled IFDEOK FILM was uploaded on the official SEVENTEEN YouTube channel just in time for Valentine's Day. In the video, the three members Hoshi, Wonwoo, and DK are dressed warmly and appear to be doing simple things one would expect from their boyfriends. For instance, Dokyeom is shown having a cup of coffee while reading a newspaper while Jeon Wonwoo is featured walking around in a park seemingly waiting for someone to arrive. Lastly, Kwon Soonyoung shows up at a flower shop to choose beautiful roses for his date.
If the clip looks familiar, it's actually part of the introduction to the latest episode of IF Seventeen, the latest video series featuring the group where they take on various challenges. In What IF SEVENTEEN Shows A 17% Miracle #1, Hoshi, Wonwoo, and DK need to complete certain tasks while communicating with each other on phones with only 17% battery. So far, the three members have been successful in getting a meal but will need to notify the others of their location through selfies. Their challenge will continue in the following week.
The short film features the song Falling For U by SEVENTEEN members Jeonghan and Joshua which serves as the perfect background music for the clip. Needless to say, the video immediately had fans feeling special as they could imagine Hoshi, Wonwoo, and DK being the ideal boyfriends preparing for a romantic date. In addition to that, the short film was dropped on a truly special day for Carats and it's not just because it's Valentine's Day.
Interestingly, the fandom name Carat was actually given by SEVENTEEN on Valentine's Day. On February 14, 2016, the group announced that they have decided on a fan club name during their LIKE SEVENTEEN - Boys Wish concert. Hoshi confirmed that SVT had an announcement to make and leader S.Coups made it official. "[All of you] made us shine so bright. From now own, you are our Carat," he said.
