Ubisoft finally announced the official release date of "Watch Dogs: Legion," following its delayed launch supposedly scheduled in Mar 2020. The highly-anticipated title is playable on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The gaming studio also confirmed earlier today that the upcoming title would be released on next-generation consoles soon.

"Watch Dogs: Legion" Release Details And Trailer

Ubisoft delayed the release of "Watch Dogs: Legion" along with some other games last year to address the issue "Ghost Recon Breakpoint" was facing at that time. The gaming studio remained silent about the release window of the game since then. Earlier, the gaming studio dropped a beefy trailer of "Watch Dogs: Legion" earlier at the digital event it held to replace the canceled E3 event.

At the Ubisoft Forward event, the studio announced that the game is scheduled to arrive on Oct 29, 2020. The trailer is more than seven minutes and showcases the ambitious recruitment system of Legion. It offers more context, and a broader perspective of the type of Londoners players could recruit on his DedSec crew.

Additionally, the new trailer underlines the drone expert capable of hacking killer drones of Albion. Another highlight in the "Watch Dogs: Legion" trailer is the villains, including CEO Nigel Cass and Mary Kelly of Albion. These two are the head of the most powerful syndicate in London that capitalizes on farming organs for the black market.

The latest "Watch Dogs: Legion" trailer also shows how players could recruit various characters. Each member of the crew has a distinct skill set. Some are adept in combat while several others are skilled in remaining inconspicuous.

"Watch Dogs: Legion" Pre-Order Details

Following the trailer, Xbox's Phil Spencer announced that like "Assassin's Creed Valhalla," the upcoming title is also a Smart Delivery game. What does this mean? Those who purchase the game for Xbox One would get the game's optimized version when they soon purchase Xbox Series X.

"Watch Dogs: Legion" will be released in three different editions. The standard edition will allow players access to Golden King Pack loaded with various golden skins. Meanwhile, the game's Gold Edition comes with the Golden King Pack, a season pass, and three days early access.

The "Watch Dogs: Legion" Ultimate Edition offers everything in the game's Golden Pack Edition and Ultimate Edition. Ubisoft has yet to unveil the details of what's included in the pack. The gaming studio also confirmed that the game would soon release on next-generation gaming consoles. Check out the game's trailer below.
