Ben Affleck may no longer be the current Batman but the Justice League actor is still expected to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne in the upcoming The Flash movie. Although Affleck has agreed to return, it looks like he isn't particularly impressed with Warner Bros. and what they have done for the DC Extended Universe. Affleck has just heaped praise on Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and somehow thrown shade at WB.

It's no secret that Ben Affleck has had some trouble when he was cast as Bruce Wayne in the DC Extended Universe. His first appearance in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was met with mixed reviews and the solo Dark Knight project he had been planning to work on didn't push through. This ultimately led to Affleck stepping down as Batman and making way for Robert Pattinson to take on the role in a new Warner Bros. project.

So is it possible that Ben Affleck's experience with Warner Bros. and DCEU led to him not being too impressed with the studio? Affleck recently took part in the Awards Chatter podcast (via The Hollywood Reporter) where he admitted that he accepted the role of Batman to impress his children.

"I did Batman because I wanted to do it for my kids," Affleck said. "I wanted to do something that my son would dig. I mean, my kids didn't see Argo." He then added, "I wore the suit to my son's birthday party, which was worth every moment of suffering on Justice League."

It certainly sounds like Ben Affleck didn't exactly enjoy working on Justice League at all. In addition to that, the Gone Girl star continued by praising Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.

"F--ing Kevin Feige is absolutely, you have to say, the greatest producer, most successful producer who ever lived," Affleck said. "He's the only guy in the world who, if he told me, 'I know what the audience wants! This is what we're doing!' I would believe him 100%."

It's great to know that Ben Affleck looks up to Kevin Feige but fans were also quick to notice that he didn't have a lot of pleasant things to say about Warner Bros. or the producers he has worked with from the studio. Perhaps Affleck is choosing not to say anything if he can't say anything nice at all.

Ben Affleck will return as Batman in The Flash. You can also catch him as the Dark Knight in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which premieres on HBO Max later this year.
