Prince William will appear in an upcoming fly-on-the-wall documentary, offering viewers an intimate glimpse into his life and role within the Royal Family as he travels across the country for his new homelessness project.

The ITV documentary is expected to air this summer and, if successful, may lead to additional episodes. The program will showcase Prince William's fervent work as a senior royal, particularly focusing on his homelessness project, which was also a cause dear to his late mother, Princess Diana.

A source told The Sun, "He's keen to highlight his work, particularly on a homeless project which was a subject very close to his mother's heart, and to connect with the public on a new level. He knows all too well how important it is that the monarchy develops a more modern relationship with the British people."

Recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton visited a Welsh village to pay tribute to the victims of the Aberfan disaster. The tragedy occurred in 1966 when a mine waste tip slid down a mountain into the town of Aberfan, killing 116 children and 28 adults. The royal couple toured the Aberfan Memorial Garden, guided by survivor David Davies and Professor Peter Vaughan, Lord Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan.

During their two-day visit to Wales, Kate shared her family's sentiments about Princess Diana in an emotional conversation with a local resident. After receiving a compliment about her engagement ring, which originally belonged to her late mother-in-law, Kate revealed that the ring remained the same size as when Princess Diana owned it.

The Duchess of Cambridge said, "With the children and the grandchildren, she would've loved being a grandmother so much. She'd be brilliant. We miss her every day."

Prince William and Kate's visit to Wales included a stop at a local rugby club and an afternoon spent with mountain rescue workers, during which the couple abseiled down a cliff in the Brecon Beacons.

As anticipation builds for the ITV documentary, viewers look forward to an unprecedented, up-close look at Prince William's life and his dedication to causes close to his heart.
