Princess Kate, the Princess of Wales, was praised for showing her "inner strength" during her Wimbledon appearance on Sunday afternoon.

The wife of Prince William, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, presented the men's final trophy to Carlos Alcaraz in what is her second public engagement—after Trooping the Colour in June—since announcing her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Body language expert Darren Stanton analyzed the future Queen's appearance and claimed that she appeared to feel "naturally happy" and "good about herself" at Wimbledon with "very strong" levels of "self-esteem.”

"[Princess]Kate was seen wearing purple as she made her appearance at Wimbledon. Purple has a representation of spirituality, calmness and tranquillity but also communication. This choice of clothing demonstrates the Princess of Wales wanted to reassure herself subtly—but I do believe she is currently in a good place. When we saw Kate walking along, she had her shoulders back with her head held high as she took long strides. The way she was walking suggests that she is feeling good about herself and has the inner strength to take this public appearance on independently,” Darren explained on behalf of Fruity Slots.

"While interacting with people, Kate looked into people’s eyes directly, displayed genuine smiles and appeared to be very present in these interactions. This shows Kate felt naturally happy to be there. When we look at Kate’s handshake, it is very firm, controlled and stable. Kate’s handshake proved she has a lot of confidence in herself and her self-esteem remains very strong. It highlights that Kate has the determination to power through and assert herself during Royal engagements,” the body language expert went on.

Most, if not all, fans are aware that Princess Kate, 42, attended the Men's Final at Wimbledon with her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister, Pippa Matthews. According to photographer Karwai Tang, the royal wanted to "take it all in" as she stood to wave at the crowds. She received a round of applause as she took to her seat in the royal box. Princess Kate would typically sit but opted to stand.

"When [Kate] usually comes in, she walks down the steps and into her seat. She doesn’t normally stand and wave. But she stood for a while and took it all in. For her to acknowledge it and take in the applause was special,” Karwai told PEOPLE Magazine.

Aside from Princess Kate, Princess Charlotte, and Pippa, other notable attendees in the royal box included Tom Cruise, Benedict Cumberbatch, Andre Agassi, and London's Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Princess Kate's attendance at Wimbledon today marks the first time she has officially appeared in public since her last outing at Trooping the Colour last month. Her appearance was confirmed on Saturday.

"The Princess of Wales, Patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club will attend the Gentleman’s Singles Final of the Championships on Sunday 14th July,” the statement read.
