In response to his outburst about the size of the crowds at Vice President Kamala Harris' recent rallies in comparison to those at J.D. Vance's, former President Donald Trump was ridiculed.

The most recent news conference that Donald Trump held was widely disseminated throughout social media platforms, and some of the former president's most ardent detractors took the opportunity to criticize him for his "fragile ego" in relation to the number of people who attended his rallies, OK! Magazine reported.

"This is hysterical. How can anyone take this man seriously? It could be Friday and he'd tell you it's Monday. The man is a pathological LIAR!" an X, formerly Twitter, user stated. "He's going to go down in history as the biggest crybaby president in American history. Such a disgrace,” another social media user shared. "I think he's overcompensating for something,” a third person said.

During the impromptu press conference that took place at Mar-a-Lago, President Trump, who was visibly irritated, responded to the reporter's inquiry by sighing and saying, "Oh, give me a break."

Trump went on to accuse the media of being biased, calling them "dishonest" for supposedly not fully covering the size of his gathering while exaggerated the coverage given to Harris' events. He also claimed that the media was prejudiced against him.

He cited a particular case, focusing on a rally that he had attended in New Jersey, where he asserted that he had gathered 107,000 participants. He argued that this number was not given sufficient prominence in the media. On the other hand, he brought up a recent occurrence that occurred with Harris and wondered in a mocking manner, "What did she have yesterday? 2,000 people? If I ever had 2,000 people, you’d say my campaign is finished."

“When she gets 1,500 people, and I saw it yesterday on ABC where they said, ‘Oh, the crowd was so big.’ I have 10 times, 20 times, 30 times the crowd size and they never say the crowd was big. That’s why I’m always saying turn around the cameras,” Trump continued.

“Let me tell you, we have the enthusiasm. The Republican Party and me as a candidate, but the Republican Party has the enthusiasm,” the former POTUS furthered.

For the entirety of his political career, Donald Trump has been known to boast about the size of the crowds that have attended his rallies and other events, including his inauguration.

However, the new running mate of the former president has not been able to attract the same number of people to his rallies as Trump is accustomed to having at his campaign events.

Vance recently staged a rally in front of the Shelby Township Police Department in Michigan, and according to a prior story by OK!, the number of supporters that showed up was significantly lower than the number of members of the press and the police.

Craig Mauger, a reporter for the Detroit News, disclosed that there was not a large audience present at the event. He did so by releasing a photograph that was taken just before he spoke. The photograph showed police officers mingling with one another and a woman standing off to the side.

It was stated by Newsweek that the former president said that he had a rally in Dayton, Ohio, in March 2024 that was attended by 60,000 people, and that he had an event in Pickens, South Carolina, in July 2023 that was attended by 50,000 people. The publication has been successful in refuting both of the assertions.

They were reduced to as few as 30,000 persons by news analysts and other journalists, including Jesse Watters of Fox News, who got the numbers down to that level.
