Even though the beloved princess, Princess Kate, has come out on the other side, 75-year-old Charles is still battling cancer. Rumor has it that the royal family's destiny is in the hands of 42-year-old king-in-waiting Prince William and his lady love of 13 years.

The appreciative pair is reportedly "counting their blessings.”

“William tried to keep a stiff upper lip throughout her health ordeal, but people in his inner circle know how worried he was. There was always the fear he would lose Kate. Privately, there were times when he was close to tears. So, this news has been a welcome turnaround. They are clinging to the hope that her health will continue to improve,” an unnamed source told The National Enquirer.

At the family's Norfolk country house, Anmer Hall, Princess Kate recently released an emotional video with Prince William and their children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6. The video also showed Princess Kate sharing a positive update.

Amidst her loved ones, the lively princess was seen in a three-minute short admitting that they "had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown."

"The cancer journey is complex, scary and unpredictable," Princess Kate said, but she also said that the experience has given her "a new perspective on everything."

"Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus," the wife of Prince William reminded her audience, "and the path to healing and a full recovery is long. I must continue to take each day as it comes."

Only two formal appearances have Princess Kate made since her shocking illness discovery in March: at Wimbledon on July 14 and Trooping the Colour on June 15. However, she's eagerly promised to attend "more public engagements" whenever she can.

Plans are already in motion for the esteemed royal's annual Christmas concert in December at Westminster Abbey, and anonymous insider informed The National Enquirer that she is eager to attend November's Remembrance Day services to commemorate the sacrifices of the United Kingdom's military veterans.

“Public appearances aside, Kate and William are getting back to living their lives and spending quality time with the children. They’re enjoying the last days of summer at Anmer Hall, enjoying picnics by the pond, strolling in the incredible garden, watching the kids play. It’s a little too soon for active sports, but Kate is looking forward to hitting a few balls with William on their tennis court when she feels up to it,” the undisclosed informant insisted.

In the meantime, Princess William is obstinate and refuses to forgive the Sussexes, his brother Harry and his sister-in-law Meghan Markle, who was born in the United States, for contributing to their stress prior to Princess Kate's distressing diagnosis.

“Kate would like to see healing between the brothers. But that’s not something William is willing to discuss now — or in the near future!” the tipster stated.
