At New York Climate Week, Prince Harry seems "in his element" and "extremely relaxed" without Meghan Markle, according to a body language expert.
According to Darren Stanton, the Duke of Sussex displayed "real happiness" during Monday's event, marking one of his recent appearances apart from Meghan Markle, Express US reported.
At an event held by African Parks, the prince was a panelist, and Stanton, who was representing Betfair Casino, remarked that the prince seemed "very relaxed and calm."
Additionally, he mentioned that Prince Harry, who addressed the dangers of the internet to children, appeared completely at ease while posing for photographs following the event.
Prince Harry, he claimed, was demonstrating a "great deal of openness and authenticity on display" by "showing a lot of his hands" and other "open palm gestures" while interacting with his fellow speakers, whose emotions he clearly displayed.
The fact that the Duke of Sussex "leaned towards" other speakers, indicating an "unconscious extra effort" to listen and understand, demonstrates that he was "actively listening" to the other panelists, as he also revealed.
In his own company, Prince Harry is "more relaxed" than when he's with Meghan Markle, he said, since the duke is so "protective" of his wife and wants to be "on guard" to protect her.
“We have two very distinct versions of Harry. When he’s on his own, he loves to attend events. In these situations, he always comes across as very relaxed and calm. It’s easy to see when he is not calm or relaxed, as his face goes bright red, and his cheeks flush. Other gestures we may see are that he will bite his lips, wring his hands, put his hands in his jackets, and brush things off his shoulder. The old version of Harry would’ve shown these sorts of signals quite often,” Darren stated.
"However, here, he is completely calm and relaxed and breathing at a good rate, which is noticeable through slight shoulder movements. The smiles and joy there show real happiness and emotion. He looks excited to be at the event and is clearly in his element amongst this group of people. He’s adopted an open palm gesture posture, where he shows a lot of his hands and his arms aren’t crossed. He has a great deal of openness and authenticity on display here because he doesn’t fold his arms in any way,” he stated.
"These are all non-verbal gestures someone makes when they are being totally congruent with what they are trying to say. In situations where he’s out in America on his own, Harry comes across as extremely relaxed. When he was talking on the panel, he was leaning toward the person he was speaking to. Leaning towards someone or in their direction shows active listening. This is when we are really making an extra effort to listen and learn, Harry does this a lot. It’s unconscious and he is trying to make sure he’s hearing what they're saying correctly,” Darren furthered.
"When he’s on his own, Harry generally looks more relaxed. His smiles are very genuine and authentic. Sometimes when he’s with Meghan, he feels more protective, he’s always on guard. He’s never truly relaxed and we don’t tend to see this level of calm. On his own, he only has to think about himself. He loves people and loves connecting. We also see the crow's feet on his face when he smiles, which shows the authenticity of emotion. He may have a mic in one hand, but he talks with the other hand, that’s palm outreach,” Darren went on.
In his remarks, the Duke of Sussex addressed some of the difficulties brought about by the rise of the internet. During Tuesday's 90-minute mainstage event titled “Everything Everywhere All At Once,” Prince Harry made an appearance as a celebrity guest near the end, Harper's Bazaar reported.
