The Vivo V11 Pro will be the successor to the Vivo V9 and the upcoming device is all set to come out in the open on Sept. 6. Media invites were sent out for the Sept. 6 launch event to be held in India, also revealing some of the key specifications the smartphone will be carrying.

Teaser images on the invite reveal a notched display, providing potential buyers a glimpse of the much-talked-about Halo FullView display. The Vivo V11 Pro will be sporting a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ display (2340x1080 pixels, 19.5:9 aspect ratio) and likely to carry on an in-display fingerprint sensor that the Vivo Nex and Vivo X21 carried.

Under the hood, the Vivo V11 Pro will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor, Adreno 512 GPU, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card). It will come with a dual-rear camera (12 MP + 5MP) as well as a front-facing 25 MP selfie shooter. The handset is dual-SIM ready while power will be supplied via a 3,400 mAh battery although it remains to be seen if it will have fast charging support. The device will come with Vivo’s own ColorOS on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, Gizmo China said.

The Vivo V11 Pro will be available in gradient colors, something that Chinese phone makers have been making a trend. Pricing and availability remain unknown although more information could be revealed on Sept. 6 once it is officially launched.

As previously posted, the Vivo V11 Pro is expected to be among the phones coming out after the Vivo X23. Like the V11 Pro, the X23 will also succeed another handset in the Vivo X21.

For the benefit of folks who may have missed it, the Vivo X23 will feature a drop-like notch with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2-percent, Gizmo China said. It will come in a lush back panel made of glass and showcase AI-powered dual cameras with wide-angle lens. As mentioned earlier, these glass back rears hint at possibly seeing the device also coming out in gradient hues.

Among the rumored specs for the Vivo X23 include seeing a device with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 or 710 SoC. The device may come with 8 GB of RAM and support for 3D facial scanning technology. The word out is that the Vivo X23 will make its way out in the open on Aug. 23, possibly setting the stage for the Vivo V11 Pro’s debut on Sept. 6.
