With Halloween soon wrapping up, most expect “Pokemon Go” to simmer down like previous years with the next big event likely happening this Christmas season. However, Niantic seems to have other things in mind with plenty of things up ahead for augmented reality gamers.

The Halloween event will officially end on Nov. 1 but the day will end with something shiny in the midst. A shiny version of Caterpie will be released on the same day, meaning folks who want to add another critter to their Pokedex are likely to keep their eyes open on the said Pokemon.

Other things happening on Nov. 1 include the debut of a bug type field research (Shedinja ) and the release of yet another shiny critter in Pinsr. It will also kick off the Safari Zone in Taiwan, something that will run on until Nov 5., Pokemon Go Hub said.

Ideally, there is nothing more to expect in the following days. But on Nov. 3, another shiny critter will be unleashed in Gengar, coinciding with the Gengar Raid Day. This is the same event mentioned in a previous post where Gengar will take over and become the Raid Battle boss at gyms, similar to how the legendary birds were done back in the Summer Raid Challenge. Trainers can get hold of the Raid passes by simply spinning the photo disc at the gyms.

At least two other key events will be happening in November. There is the Cyndaquil Community Day event happening on Nov. 10. Obviously, a period where the said critter will be in focus, trainers should expect an increased spawn rate for this shiny type Pokemon. One other date to remember is Nov. 20, the day when Giratina leaves gyms. There is also the release of Meltan set for November although no actual date has been mentioned as of this writing.

Hence, Niantic will be keeping a lot of Pokemon Go players busy this November, offering shiny critters that most augmented reality gamers will likely go after. As far as their stats and efficiency ratings, it has yet to be announced if there is something that makes them stand out from the normal type Pokemon versions.

Aside from that, Pokemon Go players are still trying to adjust to the slew of new features Niantic has added. This includes the Adventure Sync which now doubles as a fitness app since it keeps track of the steps taken by a trainer. This will come in handy for players wanting to hatch Pokemon Go kilometer eggs, another way to add more pocket monsters to their inventory.
