Apple recently sent out invitations to the press for its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference on June 3. The company's keynote will commence 10 AM Pacific Time. Several tech sites received different kinds of invitations, which others presume has something to do with what the company is going to detail during the special event.

This year's invitations though diverse have something in common: the graphics show animoji and neon emoji images placed on midnight blue foregrounds. Others speculate that this could be a sign that the Cupertino-based tech titan is going to launch the much-anticipated Dark Mode of the iOS. Among the highly anticipated topics include the three main OS releases expected at the later part of 2019: the iOS 13 for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone; watchOS 6 for the Apple Watch; and macOS 10.15 for the Mac.

Earlier leaks suggested that the upcoming iOS 13 will have a Dark Mode similar to that found in macOS Mojave and built-in support for using iPad as mac's external display. There are also several iPad-specific enhancements anticipated. This includes the capability to different app versions using the same app, a possible home screen facelift, and revamped multitasking experience. Additionally, the Cupertino-based tech giant is also expected to make major changes to the iOS' Reminders app. Over time, the Reminders app is criticized because it could not compete with other apps.

While little is known about macOS 10.15, the Apple special event will most likely focus on Marzipan. This is the company's initiative in making it much easier to align their apps with iOS and Mac devices. A new independent music app is also expected during the keynote of the company. watchOS 6 is anticipated to feature a dedicated app store for the Apple Watch. It could have new apps related to health and could even sport new watch faces.

On the hardware part, many are expecting to hear something new for the Mac Pro. It has been two years since Apple promised journalists that it was developing a new Mac desktop to meet the preferences of the critics who called its design a trash can. The Worldwide Developers Conference 2019 is one of the best platforms for Apple to announce new hardware. The Cupertino-based tech titan previously mentioned that the release window for the new hardware is 2019. Additionally, some developers and journalist who will be at the special event will be one of the target audiences for the Mac Pro
