We're so close to the official launch of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 range. The devices have been a constant on the rumor mill, giving us a rough idea of what to expect from the company's new flagship. This time, the specs of the upcoming gadgets have made it online.
According to Greek blog Technomaniac, we might see at least two variations of the Note 10, each having different RAM/Storage configurations and display sizes. This report matches the earlier leak that says there will be a Galaxy Note 10 and a Note 10 Plus. The blog also details some specifics that we have never heard before. Let's take a closer look.
The Galaxy Note 10 lineup will be sporting some cool camera upgrades and new display panels. These new features should rival the impressive Huawei P30 family as well as the incoming phones from Apple. Samsung's take on camera features is a triple rear camera setup and the larger Note 10 Plus will reportedly have a Time of Flight camera sensor.
The writeup from Technomaniac claims that Samsung has managed to improve the battery capacity of the Note 10 by 100mAh each due to the removal of the 3.5mm earphone jack. An earlier leak suggests that the phones will have a 4170mAh battery designed by Samsung itself. Additionally, the Note 10 Plus will reportedly start at 256GB internal storage and 12GB RAM.
Even the lower-key predictions seem a bit out of step for the new Note line. For example, the source says that the larger Note 10 will weigh 198g, while the smaller one is at 168g. Both are significantly lighter than the Note 9 which is at 201g.
There's going to be some changes to the S-Pen as well. This year, the stylus will be able to recognize gestures, allowing the devices to work without physically touching it. Samsung will also integrate sound effects on the stylus and get rid of the Bixby button. It will instead be integrated on the power button of the Note 10 devices, the same way Huawei did with the Google Assistant.
There will be new features on the front and rear cameras as well. The back cameras will focus on the most prominent sound in the video being recorded. This feature is called Zoom Audio, which the LG G2 also has. The front cameras, meanwhile, will have support night mode for photographs.
