You can collect the same Korok Seed over and over again in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, thanks to this newly discovered glitch. It's the easiest trick to pull off, but compared to locating and retrieving each Korok Seed in the game one by one, the glitch is the easiest way to go.
Breath of the Wild player Bot_W discovered the glitch, which has since been demonstrated in a video posted yesterday by YouTuber Gaming Reinvented. The glitch requires tricking the game into giving you one of the Korok Seeds without having to play the full animation, so it registers that it's already been collected once.
To do this, you'll have to do another glitch called moonwalking, which lets the player pull off an unlimited number of mini-jumps. Now mini-jumps aren't a walk in the park either as it relies on a combination of the "hold-smuggling" and "walk on horse," which are both glitches.
To accomplish this Korok Seed trick, start by dropping an item, getting hit by a jelly or bomb, and then you'll have to teleport at just the right moment afterward. You'll need to activate a text box for finding new items and pause the game quickly to choose an item which will be held by Link. This allows Link to ride horses whole standing, making it possible to kill the horse he's standing on and unlock a lot of jumps, thus the ability to "moonwalk."
Once it's active, start moonwalking over the Korok Seed hidden in a tree found on Lake Hylia. You can find this tree just outside the Ya Naga Shrine. You will see the button prompt to collect the seed and instead of triggering the usual animation, getting it then brings up the text box for collecting the seed, which will add another seed to your total. But the Korok Seed will not leave the ground, and will instead allow to you collect it over and over again.
A lot of legwork is needed to pull this off, but it's a great alternate route to collect Korok Seeds, which are used to unlock Link's upgrades. But don't rely on it too much.
Nintendo doesn't tolerate glitches and will roll out a patch once it discovers a new glitch is in the system. When Breath of the Wild was quite new, there was another way to harvest Korok Seeds infinitely. But it all stopped when the devs rolled out the game's 1.3.1 update.
