It was reported a few days ago that Huawei may launch the Mate 30 Pro as soon as Sept. 19, which is just a day before the much-awaited release of the iPhone 11. But it seems the Chinese tech giant isn't the only company to push up the launch of their newest flagship device. OnePlus is now rumored to introduce its new gadgets about a week after the rumored release date for Apple's latest offering.

For the past week, Max J of the @Samsung_news Twitter account has been teasing the launch of the OnePlus 7T, but just today he specified the date of launch. The leakster says that the 7T will launch at an event in India on Sept. 26, which is also the rumored date for the launch of the OnePlus TV. By Oct. 10, US/EU markets will get to buy the phone, and the rest of the world will get it on Oct. 15.

So, why in India? OnePlus often holds launch events in India as the country is considered its most important region, but those events are often simultaneous with events in Europe or the US. It seems the company is taking a different route now, however, since it looks like the US and Europe will have to wait some two weeks or so for the OnePlus 7T launch.

About the specifications, we can't really tell you a lot, but it's said that both the 7T and the 7T Pro will carry the Snapdragon 855 Plus. This chip, mind you, is more powerful than the regular 855, which powers the OnePlus 7 series. This silicon is also commonly found in a lot of gaming smartphones.

In the last quarter, BBK Electronics, the parent company that owns Vivo, OPPO, and OnePlus dominated the Indian market. When it comes to single brands, though, Xiaomi continued to be the most popular.

As for OnePlus, it's doing quite well in the premium segment, and that's all because of the company's impressive specs encased in a phone with quite the friendly price. This could be the reason why India has a separate launch for the 7T.

It's also rumored the OnePlus could launch another version of the 7T but with support for 5G, which is going to be more widely available than its first 5G-capable phone that's been offered in some countries in the EU.

The company also has an upcoming TV, which is expected to launch next month. It should come with great features, and as with most OnePlus products, a price that's easy on the pockets.
