A new Rockstar Games title has been refused classification in Australia. The title is dubbed Bonaire and is included in the growing list of RCed titles in the continent. While many could not put their fingers about the title, some fans suggest that it could be a DLC for "Red Dead Redemption 2."
Australia seems to be in a ban frenzy recently. There has been a list of titles that were refused classification including "Kingdom Come: Deliverance," "Hotline Miami," "We Happy Few," and "DayZ." The latest and might be the most intriguing is the Rockstar titles called "Bonaire" which could be downloadable content for "Red Dead Redemption 2."
"Bonaire" from Rockstar Games has been recently slapped with an RC sticker in Australia. This means that it is banned in the country. While it is RC action from Australia is not that interesting, what many gamers are now wondering about is what exactly "Bonaire" is.
Kotaku first reported and convincingly speculated that Bonaire could be a "Red Dead Online" update or expansion. According to the site, there are no listings for "Bonaire" or significant applications from Take Two Interactive or from Rockstar Games on the PEGI system, ratings agency boards or in the Software Rating Information. The application was submitted through the IARC system and there is nothing more aside from the refused classification rating.
According to the report, the only possible hint could be in the name itself, which is a reference to an island in the Carribean. This region already appeared in "Red Dead Redemption 2" in the past. There is a grain of logic behind the Caribbean being the next spot for "Red Dead Online."
It is also possible that it could be the much-awaited DLC for "Red Dead Redemption 2." Earlier speculations talked about an upcoming DLC and some even claim that it could be about aliens. The only argument about "Bonaire" being a "Red Dead Redemption 2" DLC is that the cowboy-themed title is not yet even released on PC.
But, anything is possible at this time. The recent RC rating given to "Bonaire" by Australia is the second game under Rockstar to be refused classification in the country. Meanwhile, there are several speculations that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be released on PC through Google Stadia.
The Stadia event at the Gamescom is one of the most-awaited venues for the announcement of the release of the game to PC. However, several game developers and publishers refused to make any announcements during the event including Rockstar Games. Fans are hoping that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be released on PC soon.
