Yesterday, several tech sites reported that "The Last of Us 2" footage was privately shown to Gamestop employees at the GME conference. From there, interesting and substantial details about the highly anticipated sequel have emerged. Interestingly, a new set of rumors surfaced on Reddit revealing the graphics quality of "The Last of Us 2."

On Reddit, a new rumor about "The Last of Us 2" claims that the upcoming sequel is going to be the biggest game from Naughty Dog. To show more proof to this claim, the rumor claims that the upcoming PS4 exclusive title will be massive on lighting and graphics technology and will bring next generation standards. The claim adds that "The Last of Us 2" is going to be Sony's marquee gaming in marketing its next generation gaming console, the PlayStation 5.

Interestingly, the rumor says that the graphics of "The Last of Us 2" are four times more complex than "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy." This is insane because if this rumor is accurate, "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy" is still one of the games of this generation with superb graphics particularly when it comes to facial animation. Naughty Dog is animation geniuses and the rumor could be possible considering that Sony plans to release the game on PlayStation 5.

Additionally, the rumor notes that the cinematic cutscenes to gameplay transition are flawless to a point that it feels like the gamer is in a cut scene when in fact, he is in a gameplay sequence. Meanwhile, "The Last of Us 2" was shown to Gamestop employees at the GME conference. One of them has a Twitter name @Gaming_Forte who shared some interesting details on the upcoming game's gameplay.

According to @Gaming_Forte, "The Last of Us 2" is a very stealth-oriented game and involves the gamer being able to use Clickers to his advantage. The attendee's information sounds like elements from "The Last of Us" Left behind DLC, which is really very interesting. The Outbreak Day is just a few weeks away and Naughty Dog has the tendency to community-oriented things during that day, so most likely, something might come up by then.

Moreover, several reports claim that Sony is holding a State of Play stream in November, which could be the company's platform to announce the release date of "The Last of Us 2." But, obviously, all these rumors should be taken with a barrel of salt and treated with skepticism. "The Last of Us 2" has no release date yet but, many believe that it will be out in the early part of 2020.
