Riot Games, the game developer of "League of Legends" may have just hinted on the next batch of surprise for its massive fan base. An image with a cryptic text was recently posted on its official social media account. Fans quickly speculated that the post could be referring to the next Star Guardian skins.
On its official Twitter account, "League of Legends" shared an image showing Ahri's hand holding three broken gems. They are star-shaped and comes in three different colors; blue, yellow, and green. The image was taken from Ahri's "A New Horizon" trailer for the 2017's batch of skins.
It appears that the next big reveal from the developer of "League of Legends" coming soon is the fan-favorite Star Guardian collection considering events and skin reveals out of the way. Following the irregular mention of questions and cosmetics from players about the next skins and who are they for, Riot Games shared a teaser last weekend to give a preview whatever Riot Games has next week related to Star Guardian.

The "League of Legends" image also comes with a text foreshadowing a more gloomy tone for the potential Star Guardian event next week since it mentioned unnamed darkness that burns people away. And, before anyone puts on their spying had and tries to uncover who is holding the stars in the image, it is worth noting that the image is taken from an old Star Guardian trailer which was released on September 2017. It was during that time when the second round of Star Guardian skins was launched.
That year, "League of Legends'" Ahri, Miss Fortune, Ezreal, Syndra, and Soraka were the five new Star Guardians launched with Ahri's hand featured in the teaser. On the other hand, the text opens up the window for speculation concerning what the event this year would be about. It does not seem to refer to anything in the trailer but more about a specific someone. It is possible that the Star guardian universe will be dissected this year with some villains to challenge the guardians.
The "League of Legends" teaser was revealed on a Saturday, so many fans expect that they will hear more about whatever it is related to Star Guardian this week.
