Neymar is reportedly set to complete a transfer to Barcelona from Paris Saint-Germain after a summer full of speculations.

Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia reports that the Brazilian will resign to Barca two years on from playing at Parc des Princes from Camp Nou for a transfer fee that broke records in the world of football.

"An agreement was reached between clubs and between Barcelona and the player," Di Marzio said. "In the coming hours the parties will sign on the dotted line and make official Neymar's return to the Camp Nou-his first home in Europe before becoming the most expensive player in history."

PSG became the talk of the town in 2017 when they completed a transfer deal for Neymar after agreeing to pay the Brazilian's buyout clause worth £198 million.

Neymar has proved his worth while playing for PSG, but his time with the club wasn't necessarily pleasant, at least according to reports. In the latter stages of both his seasons in PSG, injuries have plagued him and prevented him from playing.

There has been a lot of speculation that Neymar will eventually make his way back to La Liga, but Real Madrid was the club he'd been strongly linked to in the first season with PSG. Reports that Barca keen on signing him again came after the 2018-2019 campaign.

It appears that Neymar is set to move back to his former home in Catalan, with whom he achieved three Copas del Ray, two La Liga titles, and the UEFA Champions League. He will join an elite group of attacking players - Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi - along with Antoine Griezmann who have recently joined the club as well.

Fans and spectators have been watching where Neymar would end up, and a lot are excited he'd be joining Suarez and Messi again. The trio had an impressive run during their time together at Barca. In their last year together, the three players were unbeatable.

Neymar left Barcelona at a crucial time, so it may take quite a while before supporters show their love for the Brazilian again. But should he perform in in a similar fashion with this first spell at the club, it's safe to say he'd be soon forgiven.

People are also anticipating how manager Ernesto Valverde will strategize all that attacking power. He has given a lot of effort to bring Neymar back - let's see where this takes Barca.
