It has been nearly a year since Nintendo launched the Switch Online service. Today, during its Nintendo Direct event, The Japanese gaming console maker announced that access to SNES Games will now be available. It will now join the long list of NES titles included in the service and will be available to Nintendo Switch players starting September 5. There are other announcements during the 40-minute Nintendo Direct event. This includes titles like "Tokyo Mirage Sessions" and "Xenoblade Chronicles" arriving in Nintendo Switch
Super Nintendo Games Coming To Switch
Nintendo unveiled a long list of upcoming titles with 20 games arriving tomorrow. This includes the obvious one like "Super Mario World" and "Super Mario Kart." Other games coming to Switch includes "Kirby's Dream Course," "Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island," "F-Zero," "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past," and "Star Fox."
"Stunt Race FX," "Super Metroid," "Kirby's Dream Land 3," "Pilotwings," "Super Soccer," and "Super Tennis" are also coming to the hybrid gaming console. Other games arriving tomorrow includes "Brawl Brothers," "Demon's Crest," "Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics," "Super E.D.F. Earth Defense Force," "Super Puyo Puyo 2," "Breath of Fire," and "Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts." Controllers for SNES are available for only $30 each for Switch Online members.
More DLC Characters
"Fatal Fury's" Terry Bogard is coming to "Smash Ultimate," and more DLC characters are also on the way. The hero of Neo geo will be the guest star of the all-star game in Nintendo scheduled on November 2019. This only means that there is only one Challenge Pack left but Nintendo also clarified that even more DLC characters are arriving. Kazooie and Banjo are also available starting today.
Wii U Game Arriving On Switch
On January 17, "Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore" is heading to Nintendo Switch and will have new story elements, new song, and new characters. Swery's "Deadly Premonition" will have a sequel titled "Deadly Premonition 2: A Blessing In Disguise" is scheduled to arrive in 2020, while the original game will be released as "Deadly Premonition Origins" is available starting today.
Other Announced Games
On December 6, "Assassin's Creed: Rebel Collection" will be released on Nintendo Switch. It will contain ports of "Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed Rogue." Blizzard's "Overwatch" is coming to the hybrid console while "Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition" is scheduled to arrive in 2020. "Divinity: Original Sin 2: Definitive Edition" is available on Switch starting today. It will back cross-saves between Nintendo Switch and Steam.
