Capcom is preparing to unveil its next "Resident Evil" game. Today, the game developer finally removed the lid on its website, revealing a new title still concealed under the codename "Project Resistance." Interestingly, a new set of leaked images associated with Capcom's next "Resident Evil" title reveal cast more light on the game's upcoming launch next week.
While the Capcom website does not really reveal much about "Project Resistance" it does unveil that the game developer is working on a new project. Fans speculate that the upcoming project could be the next "Resident Evil" game. But, we will know more about this on September 9, 2019, as the website promises to release the trailer of the game at 3 PM UTC.
While Capcom is just giving fans tidbits of information about "Project Resistance," more information will be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 starting September 12. The website also notes that those who will attend the Tokyo Game Show will be able to get their hands on the new game "Project Resistance" through advance registration. There is also a limited number of tickets to be given to TGS participants while the afternoon will only be open for those who have advance registrations.
Aside from the official announcement from Capcom about "Project Resistance," one fan was able to scrape several images from the YouTube link shared by Capcom. The images, which you can take a look below, showcase a wide range of characters with different kinds of weapons. The new characters appear to rule out a remake of "Resident Evil 3" or "Resident Evil 4," but it could definitely point out to the heavily speculated title "Resident Evil Outbreak."
The alleged game is a multiplayer approach on the series that was first released in 2003. In that particular game, players assume the roles of pone of the eight characters that were forced to survive their way out of Raccoon City. The game was also linked to the popular game from Valve, "Left 4 Dead."

Capcom has yet to officially confirm the return of the "Resident Evil Outbreak." Interestingly, the "Project Resistance" website is linked to Capcom's 2003 game of the same name and was updated just this morning. This is not a solid proof that next "Resident Evil" game is somehow the same as "Resident Evil Outbreak" or at least something similar to that. A few days from now, we will know what Capcom's "Project Resistance" is really about.
