iPhone users know it for a fact that the battery of their phones, upon reaching a certain age, can no longer last that long. They'd be lucky if the battery lasts even half a day. The new iPhones though come with the A13 Bionic chip, which Apple says give them an extra-long battery life.

The new 2019 iPhones may be criticized as being too boring and not exciting given they do not really have features that other premium phones do not have already, but there's no denying they are more powerful.

In essence, if Apple lives by the slogan that it does not compete with anyone but only itself, then it certainly has released some astounding new phones. Certainly -iPhone 11, ii Pro, 11 Pro Max are Apple's best iPhone yet. Their battery life is going to be just one evidence.

Apple revealed that these new phones will be powered by the A13 Bionic and in the company's words, it's going to be the most powerful silicon chip ever to grace a smartphone. As The Verge reported, this has been what Apple has been saying for the past three years. But it's battery life is still worth checking out.

"The A13 Bionic is the fastest CPU ever in a smartphone," Apple said also claiming it is the"the fastest GPU in a smartphone." Moreover, Apple is claiming that A13 Bionic is the most power-efficient chip ever made by up to 40 percent.

With it on the new iPhone 11 Pro, users get around four extra hours of battery life compared to their older phones. The chip gives extra five hours for the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Allegedly, the chip has hundreds of voltage gates and thousands of clock gates that can automatically close off the power to parts of the chip when not in use.

According to Verge, Apple did brag about its previous chips too when they were launched. The A12 Bionic was described as "the smartest and most powerful chip in a smartphone, features the first 7-nanometer chip ever in a smartphone that delivers industry-leading performance in a more power-efficient design."

On the other hand, A11 Bionic was described as "the most powerful and smartest chip ever in a smartphone, features a six-core CPU design with two performance cores that are 25 percent faster and four efficiency cores that are 70 percent faster than the A10 Fusion, offering industry-leading performance and energy efficiency."

According to The Verge, despite Apple making these claims yearly, none of their phone releases felt that much faster than their predecessors. This is probably going to be the same as the new iPhones.

Still, it can certainly be said that Apple's motto must be to be always better than it was in the past and to only compete with itself, never with other smartphone brands.
