In a move that is seen to undercut the Google Pixel 4 series rollout, the OnePlus 7T, and possibly the OnePlus 7T Pro, will be debuting with Android 10 all set to rock and roll. And since the known flagship killer is set for revelation this week, it will be the first device to showcase how powerful and exciting the next Android version would be.
On September 26, Chinese device maker OnePlus will be staging an event that will see the unwrapping of the sequels to the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. Like in previous occasions, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau is on a teasing mode and is letting out bits by bits the juicy details on the upcoming Android toys.
The latest of Lau's treat is the OS version that will give life to the OnePlus 7T, which the company chief confirmed in a statement is none other than the latest and greatest from Google - that would be the Android 10.
"We're thrilled to offer Android 10, the latest software version, for our upcoming OnePlus 7T. OnePlus will be the first smartphone manufacturer to preload Android 10 with Google's apps and services on their latest device," GSM Arena reported Lau as saying.
The OnePlus 7T hitting the market with the latest Android build is in keeping with the company's "Never Settle mindset.
"We are constantly seeking new ways to share the latest technology, giving our community the best 'fast and smooth' experience possible," the company boss said.
As indicated earlier, the OnePlus 7T releasing with Android 10 is some sort of a coup that will give a significant advantage to the brand over the Google Pixel 2019 models.
Google has already announced that the Pixel 4 series will be introduced in October and Android fans are certainly holding their breath on what will be served. However, with the OnePlus 7T getting unveiled on Thursday, they don't need to wait much longer as Android 10 will be displayed in full glory and with hardware that is of premium quality.
According to XDA Developers, the 7T is touted to impress with a rear camera that has a three-sensor module and an immersive OLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. The device is said to be capable of fast charging, which is a feature that is increasingly becoming a standard on flagship smartphones.
Still, one last detail remains a big mystery for those anticipating the OnePlus 7T touchdown. That would be the specific pricing, which Lau had elected not to divulge until this time. Rumors, however, are saying that the sticker price to come with the OnePlus 7T release will be lower than that of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
