Sid Meier's "Civilization VI" is the most popular isometric real-time strategy game. The turn-based strategy game always has a strong place on PC gaining traction as the series released titles. Following its release on the hybrid console, Nintendo Switch, "Civilization VI" has set its sights on the current generation gaming console and will be released along with its expansions.

"Civilization VI" is slated to arrive on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 22, 2019. This is already confirmed during the most recent State of Play. 2k Games will bring the turn-based strategy game with enhancements and optimizations for controllers. The base game will be available at $60 while all of its expansions are packed into one Expansion Bundle and will be retailed for $50.

The "Civilization VI" Expansion Bundle, which will also be available on Nintendo Switch, will include "Civilization VI" Rise and Fall expansion. Console gamers will also get the "Civilization VI" gathering Strom expansion along with 18 extra Civilization Leaders in the Expansion Bundle. For Xbox One and PlayStation 4 users, the game will arrive with four extra content packs.

This includes the Poland Civilization & Scenario Pack, the Vikings Scenario Pack, the Australia Civilization & Scenario Pack, and the Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack. As a bonus, PlayStation 4 users will get the "Civilization VI" Nubia Civilization & Scenario pack along with the Khmer and Indonesia Civilization & Scenario pack for free. These packs, however, are available for purchase for Xbox One users.

"Civilization VI" was originally released in 2016 on the PC platform and on Nintendo Switch a couple of years after. Instead of the usual stripped-down version of the game that console gamers used to play, this time, they will enjoy the full version of the turned-based strategy game along with its expansion packs and additional contents. "Civilization VI" was designed for the board and sword so it will be interesting to see how it will turn out on gaming controllers.

Last month, game publisher Take-Two Interactive announced that the series' latest installment, "Civilization VI," had sold faster than any of its siblings. The announcement was made at the company's quarterly earnings call. According to Take Two Interactive President Karl Slatoff, "Civilization VI" is, by far, the fastest-selling title in the history of "Civilization" series. To date, the game has sold over 5.5 million units worldwide. The franchise is almost three decades and has made a very impressive feat.

When "Civilization VI" was released on November 2016, it earned a warm reception from PC gamers. In fact, a month after its official release, the game had already sold one million copies. "Civilization VI" has set a milestone that no other "Civilization" installment has achieved.
