Google Pixel 4 is one of the most awaited flagship smartphones anticipated to release this year. One of its unique features is the Motion Sense achieved through Google's Project Soli. According to a recent report, the Motion Sense feature of the upcoming flagship phone will be limited to some countries and apps at launch.

While the Motion Sense feature of Google Pixel 4 is interesting, it will not work on every app or available in all countries. In fact, according to 9to5Google, this feature will be limited to nine apps and 38 countries at launch. Although it is unfortunate for countries whose users will not be able to enjoy this feature, the initial list looks promising.

The latest report was obtained by the tech site from the details supplied by Nextfrit and extracted from the APK of Google Pixel 4's Motion Sense. The reason why the feature is only limited to several countries is because Google has to approval from all countries for the Motion Sense's Soli sensor's spectrum of uses. For now, not all countries give their approval, and some countries will never ever allow it.

So far, the countries listed in the Google Pixel 4 Motion Sense APK include American Samoa, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, and Canada. Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, and France will also be able to use the Motion Sense feature of Google Pixel 4. Other countries included in the list are Germany, Greece, Guam, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, and the Netherlands.

Google Pixel 4 users in Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland will also get to enjoy the Motion Sense feature fo the upcoming next-generation flagship smartphone from Google. Taiwan, Province of China, The United Kingdom, and The United States along with the Virgin Islands, U.S. are also included in the list of countries that has access to the Motion Sense feature of Google Pixel 4.

Apart from the list of countries, another list containing the media apps that are whitelisted in the media apps of the Motion sense app was uncovered. This includes Amazon Music, Deezer, Google Play Music, iHeartRadio, and Pandora. Spotify, Spotify Stations, YouTube Music, and YouTube are also included in the list of apps that can use the Motion Sense feature of Google Pixel 4.

It is worth noting that some of the notable countries like Japan, Australia, Mexico, and New Zealand are not included in the list. Best Buy earlier mentioned that the Google Pixel 4 Motion Sense is supported in Australia. It could be a mistake on the part of Best Buy, or it could also be waiting for the country's approval.

We will know more about this at the Google event on October 15, where the unveiling of Google Pixel 4 series flagship smartphone is expected to happen.
