Manchester United recent draw 1-1 with Arsenal placed the team on the 10th spot. The Red Devils are just three points away from Arsenal which is sitting in the fourth place. Manchester United's performance last Monday, especially that of Paul Pogba, irked football pundits and triggered them to label his performance with different monikers.
Danish pundit Peter Schmeichel called Paul Pogba the problem child of Manchester United. Roy Keane criticized his performance as disappointing and poor. While former Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie agreed with Schmeichel and thinks that Pogba must be allowed to play in between the lines to make sure the club gets the most out of him.
During last Monday's game against Arsenal, it appeared that Paul Pogba was a bit surprised when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer included him in United's starting lineup following his comeback from an injured ankle. Pogba is expected to lead on the pitch, but it was Scott Tominay who stepped up against the Gunners and scored an impressive 20-yard strike during the stroke of half-time. Paul Pogba was a problem child in the side of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, according to Peter Schmeichel.
The 1992 & 1993 IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper attended the game at the Old Trafford and shared in his interview that he was unhappy of Paul Pogba's display in Manchester United. He even accused the 26 years old Frenchman of hiding during the first half of the match. He added that Red Devils must clarify Pogba's position in the team.
"I don't understand what his role in this team is... He kind of feels like he's the problem child in this team..."

Schmeichel's criticism was affirmed by ex-Manchester United and Arsenal striker Robin van Persie. He said that the team must allow Paul Pogba to play in between the lines to get the best out of him. Meanwhile, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane said that the team needs more from Pogba.
He added that people gave him a massive buildup before the match, but he was so poor and disappointing. Paul Pogba ended the game with 82 percent passing accuracy. Although he was, by no means the worst player on the pitch, the most recent match was another game in which the Frenchman has failed to lead the Red Devils with the quality of performance expected of his deal, reputation, and status.
At the moment, Paul Pogba's future with Manchester United is still uncertain after he failed to secure a move to Real Madrid during the summer transfer window.
