One of the most anticipated events happening this month if the Samsung Unpacked event. Scheduled on Feb. 11, the event is expected to be the venue where the South Korean tech giant would unveil its latest products. One of these products is the new Samsung Galaxy Buds+, which earlier today launched its app ahead of the Unpacked event.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ App

Apple App Store lists today the official app of the Samsung Galaxy Buds+, which confirms the existence of the next-generation wireless earbuds from the South Korean tech and electronics giant. On iTunes, several screenshots of the app reveal the upcoming wireless earbuds from Samsung connected to an iPhone. Additionally, the app states that iPhone 7 owners with iOS 10 and above could download and install the app on their Apple smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ allows users to customize its settings, download and install over the air updates and check the battery life of Samsung's next-generation earbuds.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Specs And Features

A massive leak about the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ recently surfaced online courtesy of the reliable tipster Evan Blass. The tipster shared on his official Twitter account the specs comparison between the upcoming galaxy Buds+ and its predecessor. While there are various improvements, the most notable would be the battery life.

The previous Samsung earbuds only offered six hours of battery life, while the new Galaxy Buds+ offers 11 hours. The battery life could run for as long as 22 hours if you combine the juice in the device's charging case. There is a seven hours battery life difference between the old and the new Samsung wireless earbuds.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Other Details

Additionally, the leaked specs comparison also reveals that the new Samsung Galaxy Buds+ would feature woofer and tweeter drivers on each piece of the earbud. Aside from those, it sports two outer and one inner voice mic. It seems that Samsung would like to fix the voice call quality of its new earbuds and did some re-engineering.

Samsung Galaxy Buds+ would feature improved noise reduction and noise cancellation for its phone calls, according to the report. However, it seems that it has no Active Noise Cancellation or similar to that, which is the biggest selling point of the Apple AirPods Pro. In terms of physical or design changes, it looks the same as its predecessor.

It would be available in Black, Blue, Red, and White color options. The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ is anticipated to officially unveil on Feb. 11, where its release date and price would also be revealed.
