It's no secret that MONSTA X is motivated by their love for their fans. However, it looks like the boy group has an even greater motivator. Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. recently had to complete a complicated mission relay in exchange of getting an expensive barbeque dinner in their new travel show MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation. Not surprisingly, the idols took the game seriously in an effort to get the amazing meal for free.

In the fifth episode of MONSTA X Is Now On Vacation, the idols had previously played a lot of games and were ready to get dinner. As part of their holiday, the boy group were provided with a special Market Box which would be filled with anything that they wanted as long as they wrote their orders down ahead of time. Kihyun confirmed that they had already ordered rib eye for them to grill. However, the staff offered a great deal to go along with the meat they had asked for.

Interestingly, the staff told MONSTA X that in addition to the eight servings of rib eye that they had ordered for their dinner menu, they would also be provided with a table full of local delicacies. Kihyun quickly pointed out that the South Jeolla province is known for its traditional dishes and the rest of the boy group were immediately excited. However, it wasn't going to be that easy for the idols to get their chance to enjoy the feast. The staff informed them that they had to win in a special game that involved all six members.

The game chosen for the challenge was the Relay Jiangshi game or the Chinese hopping zombie game. In this case, all members had to wear long containers on their arms so they couldn't fold it as they completed a task each. The tasks included were removing a Post-It from your head, putting on a vest, guessing a song being played through earphones, putting on a backpack, skipping rope 10 times and putting on a Podaegi or traditional baby carrier. Since it all seemed difficult, MONSTA X requested for the staff to allow them to try the tasks first before they do the real thing.

The group was given only 120 seconds (2 minutes) to complete the task. Although I.M took his time in putting on the Podaegi, the rest of the members didn't have any trouble finishing their missions. Not surprisingly, MONSTA X was able to complete their mission in just 64 seconds and they were able to enjoy the expensive dinner that the staff prepared for them.
