Rumors about iPhone 13 features recently started appearing and these include its front section having smaller notches and cameras on the Pro variants using bigger image sensors.

Since last year, there were already talks about an iPhone 13 set for release this year. Though recent reports indicate that Apple might avoid the number 13 due to superstitious beliefs and instead opt for an "S" variant, there is no denying that the Cupertino tech giant will launch a new flagship this year. Already, dozens of rumors about its features are surfacing, including talks about the new smartphone using larger image sensors on the cameras of its Pro models and having smaller notches on the front side of the phone.

Like many other Apple iPhone models it released in the past, the Cupertino tech giant refuses to confirm nor deny whether the rumors are true or not. In a traditional Apple fashion, the company remained tight-lipped as regards its rumored use of larger image sensors on Pro models and smaller notches on the front face of the phone, as well as talks about other features of the upcoming smartphone. The company will not even say whether they will name the new model iPhone 13 or, as some sectors suggest, will still carry the "12," albeit with an "S" to it, or iPhone 12s.

Pro Upgrades

Aside from having smaller notches on its front face, the Pro models of the rumored iPhone 13 reportedly will use larger image sensors. Past rumors suggest all upcoming four models arriving in the second half of 2021 will use Sensor-Shift Camera Stabilization technology, much like those used on the iPhone 12 Pro Max. Recent rumors indicate that only two the two higher-end models will use larger sensors.

Another rumored change with the upcoming iPhone 13 involved its ultrawide camera. Past reports already mentioned these upgrades though recent rumors indicate that the present 5P lens will increase to 6P. However, unlike rumors indicating that the Pro models of the upcoming iPhone 13 will use bigger image sensors and all models having smaller notches, there was no mention of whether the ultrawide camera upgrade is limited to the higher-end models.

Smaller And Better

There are also talks that the upcoming iPhone 13 models will feature smaller notches. Before talks of Pro models of the new smartphones using bigger image sensors and all of the iPhone 13 variants having smaller notches, there were already talks in the past about the upcoming iPhones having thicker chassis and small notches. This time, however, recent rumors say that iPhone 13's new design will combine the Rx, Tx, and flood illuminator into one camera. Doing so would significantly make the notches smaller, which results in the user enjoying more screen real estate. Bear in mind, however, that these are all rumors, which could be true or not, though everyone will know for sure when it is launched this year.
