It has been alleged that King Charles has been making every effort to steer clear of Prince Andrew. The disgraced royal is said to have "limited access" to his brother at the moment, as the two of them continue to argue over Prince Andrew's reported refusal to leave the Royal Lodge.

"[King] Charles does not like confrontation at the best of times and especially when he is on holiday. They are not in each other's pockets at Balmoral and probably only regularly see one another at dinner,” an unnamed source told OK! Magazine.

In light of the fact that he was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, King Charles has been concentrating on taking it easy since the beginning of this year.

"This summer the King needs rest more than ever. The cancer treatment has been tiring and it makes him often fall asleep. I can't think of anything guaranteed to make him go off the deep end than to have Royal Lodge brought up,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.

It has been stated that the siblings had been experiencing tension for a considerable amount of time. On the other hand, King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla, have made every effort to avoid any situations that could be considered uncomfortable.

"At Christmas, [Prince] Andrew did try to get a meeting with the King and she (Camilla) kept him at arm's length," the undisclosed informant noted. To recall, the former Prince of Wales terminated the security force that Prince Andrew had employed at the huge home.

"Everyone is speculating this means the Duke will have to leave the Royal Lodge because what other reason could there be to take his security away? They are all working the final weeks of their contract till the end of October. It’s not thought anyone is being lined up to replace them. It isn’t a secret that the King wants him out,” the tipster shared.

Christopher Andersen, a royal author, provided her with his perspective on the events that are taking place behind the scenes, despite the fact that King Charles wanted his brother to leave the castle.

"It's doubtful that King Charles — who, along with his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, is battling cancer — is in the mood for a knockdown drag-out with his brother. If and when Andrew does move, it will simply be because he doesn't have the money to heat Royal Lodge or keep the lights on," Christopher stated, as per Britain's News Channel.
