May 14 is drawing close every day, and if you're keeping up with the news, you'll know that this will be the day OnePlus will be unveiling the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. This, however, doesn't mean that the remaining details of the Smartphones will cease to appear. In fact, one website posted the Geekbench scores of the flagship OnePlus 7 Pro.

In their recent article, Tom's Guide laid down "the first benchmark results" for the OnePlus 7 Pro. Aside from the fact that the Geekbench document confirms that the device will have a 12GB RAM on the inside, the write up also clings on previous rumors that the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 CPU.

As for the scores, the website puts the OnePlus 7 Pro's 11,012 multi-core score "very close" to the iPhone XS Max. The Apple flagship device garnered a Geekbench score of 11,515 on its multi-core, making it one of the "world's fastest phone ever," at least by Tom's Guide standards. The iPhone XS sits behind its big brother with a multi-core score of 11,420.

Pitting the OnePlus 7 Pro with other Android handhelds had different results. The upcoming OnePlus flagship's multi-core score puts it in first place and ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S10+. Geekbench gave the Samsung standout with a multi-core score of 10,642, while the Galaxy S10 comes in at third place with a 10,593 multi-core score.

The OnePlus 7 Pro's single-core score on the other hand tags it in fourth place with 3,551. Sitting on top of the hill is, of course, the Samsung Galaxy S10+ with a single-core score of 4,313. Ironically, the Galaxy S10 got the same score; both are outfitted with a 2.0GHz Exynos 9820 chip, so it makes little or no difference on the results. A version of the S10+ with a Snapdragon 855 meanwhile is in fifth place with a single-core score of 3,429.

Moreover, DisplayMate rated the OnePlus 7 Pro with an A+, the "highest" it has awarded so far. The device's rumored 90Hz refresh rate, it added, "would certainly impress the DisplayMate people," but they are waiting for OnePlus to officially announce the 7 Pro before they publish their verdict.

With that aside, there is another leak that leads to the display of the OnePlus 7 Pro. Slashleaks' Sunilpancholi posted a couple of tempered glass panels made for the upcoming flagship and it points to the OnePlus 7 Pro having a curved screen. The protector also hinted that the device will have "minimal bezels" although the chin is quite thick.
