Another day, another Samsung leak. If you've been following the Galaxy Note 10's progress, then you know by now that it's coming August 7th and that it'll have 5G. You probably have an idea what it would look like based on the renders released in June. But now, we may have the "official" images of the newest Samsung flagship, and we have a hunch this could be it.
The leaked images come from two reliable sources: MySmartPrice contributor Ishan Agarwal and Roland Quandt at WinFuture. The Galaxy Note 10 may not come in black alone, but a colorful and shinier version could also be released. Based on the leaked photos, you may be able to buy Samsung's newest flagship in a shiny blue-purple pearlescent color scheme that honestly looks like the Huawei P30 Pro. As rumored previously, we can clearly see a triple-camera array around the back of the phone, exceptionally thin bezels and a hole-punch camera that each barely disturb the screen around the front, and all the curved glass you'd expect from a Samsung flagship in 2019.
The purported Galaxy Note 10 is aesthetically pleasing, but it lacks something that a lot of people are expecting: the fingerprint sensor. Maybe it's inside the display? We don't know, and this phone has one fewer physical button than we'd typically expect on a Galaxy Note. Did Samsung do away with the power button, or did it finally get rid of the oft-hated Bixby button? If the power button did simply switch sides, that's still something users would have to get used to.
Word is that Samsung will get rid of the 3.5mm headphone jack. If you expect a premium phone to be paired with Bluetooth headphones, this will make sense, but a little weird because the Note has always been the everything-and-the-kitchen-sink device when it comes to features.
Another thing missing is the second, larger version of the new Note. According to Quandt, we're looking at a small version that will supposedly have a 6.3-inch screen.
If these rumors are true, you can also look forward to a giant 6.75-inch Note 10 Pro when Samsung officially announces this August. There might be a 5G variant too, that is if Samsung decided that 5G was too tough to fit into the standard Note.
These leaks don't say much about what's underneath the surface, although you may know what's coming based on history. They'll likely both use the Snapdragon 855 (or Samsung's Exynos in some regions), carry 8GB or more of RAM and ship with ample amounts of storage. We'll see.
