"Red Dead Redemption 2" releasing on the PC platform is one of the most-awaited announcement in the gaming community. Since the cowboy-themed title was released almost a year ago, fans have been waiting for Rockstar games to announce its release in the PC platform. But, if the latest datamined details are accurate, it seems that we might see the announcement of the game earlier than expected.
In the "GTA" Forums, a member named VideoTech UK inspected the files of "Red Dead Redemption 2" and uncovered lines of code that have references to PC settings. This includes anti-aliasing options, texture quality, and refresh rate, among others. Some settings like the Directx 12 Support were spotted in the companion app of "Red Dead Redemption 2" two months ago.
The GTA Forums member stated that the "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC release is happening in the nearest future. The data miner revealed that his datamining activity yielded a file that contains PC presets and settings. VideoTech UK also shared images showing the monitor settings to provide evidence as to the authenticity of the claim.
Most of the codes datamined in "Red Dead Redemption 2" files suggest grass quality, particle settings, shader settings, and motion blur, among others. The data miner also shared that DirectX 12 support is also coming to the "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC port. It seems that this claim aligns with the previous post made a month earlier which uncovered the existence of DirectX 12 support.
The latest datamined details making reference to game settings of "Red Dead Redemption 2" on PC is a strong indication that the game is releasing on the platform. The western-themed title was released on October 2018 on Xbox and PlayStation 4. It is possible that after almost a year, Rockstar Games has already ported the game to PC and is just making finishing touches.

The announcement of "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC release might happen next month just in time for the anniversary of the game's official release on consoles. The game is one of the most promising open-world titles ever released and porting it to PC will boost the gaming base of the title. Earlier, there are several rumors claiming that the game will receive its DLC.
Several rumors also claim that the upcoming DLC will have an alien-inspired theme. But, like all leaks and datamined information about the "Red Dead Redemption 2" PC release, it is safe to take these details with a barrel of salt and with great skepticism.
