"Pokemon Go" continues to rake in money for Niantic Labs. The popular augmented reality game has so far brought the company $176 million last month. With an exciting and wide range of activities every month along with the occasional releases of unique and much-awaited pocket monsters, Niantic, has somehow, managed to keep the game money-making machine.

"Pokemon Go" was officially released in August 2016, and despite the general impression that the game will slowly decline in terms of sales, it has maintained a steady stream of income for Niantic. According to the monthly worldwide report published by SuperData, "Pokemon Go" is the leading mobile game in terms of earnings last month. The report added that August was the best month for the popular augmented reality game because of its events.

"Pokemon Go" beat "Honour of Kings" last month in the digital earnings chart. Although the popularity of the augmented reality game is slowly declining, there is still a chance that it could match "Fortnite" as the top grossing game for consoles. The "World of Warcraft Classic" have seen a 223 percent increase in terms of subscription since its release last month.

"Madden NFL 20," on the other hand, dropped about six percent compared to its performance in 2018. Although September is a cooler month and might affect the activities of "Pokemon Go" players, many fans are still optimistic that the game will have another stellar month. This could be due to the introduction of Generation 5 pocket monsters in the game. Players have a lot of fresh pocket monsters to track down and collect, which means more players playing the game on a daily basis.

Niantic also rolled out Ultra Bonuses in "Pokemon Go" and launched the new Unova Stone. September is still a busy month for "Pokemon Go" players considering that before the month ends, the game developer will release the Legendary Pokemon Giratina in the game's Raid Battles. Additionally, the Gen 5 pokemon are still in the game.

Meanwhile, the next community day in "Pokemon Go" will be on Saturday, October 12. The event will start early from 11 Am until 2 PM local time. It will feature Trapinch, the Gen 3 Ground Pokemon. Players will also be able to get three times the amount of XP for catching Pokemon during the upcoming "Pokemon Go" community day.
