The successful release and warm reception of the consumers of Pocophone F1 triggered fans to anticipate that the Chines smartphone maker will release its sequel. Following the official confirmation of the company that the Poco brand will not be discontinued fans keep on digging and waiting for any news related to the device's sequel, which, in this article, will be dubbed as the Pocophone F2. Interestingly, eagle-eyed fans recently spotted an image, which if accurate, could suggest the launch date of the much-awaited sequel.

Manu Kumar Jain, the managing director of Xiaomi India recently shared on Twitter a photo showing him and another executive, Sneha Tainwala, Redmi's region head, in what appears to be the OEM's regional office. The image's background shows a whiteboard, which many fans believe to contain a timeline. Interestingly, the image shows the word F2 written under the figure 11.

The whiteboard on the background containing texts is assumed to contain the timeline for the release or launch of different Xiaomi products under different sub-brands including the launch date of Pocophone F2. The board reveals what seems to be a timeline ranging from 3 to 12, which many think as figures representing the months March through December. If this interpretation is correct, there are some writings on the whiteboard in various colored markers that could indicate the launch of Xiaomi India's products in particular months.

For instance, the term Mi Pad is written under the number 5. Based on the interpretation, the Pocophone F2 is written under the number 11, which could mean it is launching in November. But, it appears that the interpretation has some holes on it.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad was not launched in the country and its successors were never released anywhere else. It is highly likely that the writings on the whiteboard have a different interpretation. Also, it is worth noting that the Xiaomi executive is with the region head executive of Xiaomi's Sub-brand Redmi, which could mean the meeting is about the launch of a Redmi device and not Pocophone F2.

However, it could be argued that the executives could also be talking about the potential launch or release windows of smartphones under the Xiaomi flag. For now, these are just speculations. But Pocofone F2 fans are hoping that this is true.
