A new leak surfaced today revealing the performance of Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card. The surprising leak shows that it is almost on par with the Titan V. The Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER graphics card features the Turing GPU architecture and is slated to release next week at $699, promises to offer better performance in terms of graphics compared to its predecessors.

The Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER is the fastest model in the SUPER product line. The RTX 2060 and the RTX 2070 were already launched last July 9. The Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER will be the company's third product to release under the SUPER line up.

The performance numbers of the Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER in the benchmark database of "Final Fantasy XV" reveals that it is around 7.5 percent much faster compared to the RTX 2080. It is a little bit ahead of the score of the Titan XP and so close to the score of Titan V, which retails at $3000. The Nvidia RTX Ti still keeps its position considering that it is positioned as the best gaming GPU in the world.

If you consider the price and the performance, the Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER is a good buy since it offers 10 percent better performance for the price of $100 more than that of the RTX 2080 Founders Edition. As revealed in earlier reports, the RTX 2080 SUPER will utilize the TU104-450 GPU, 8 GB GDDR6, and 3072 CUDA cores. The graphics card will be clocked in at 15.5 Gbps with a 256-bit bus interface.

This means that the Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER will boost the bandwidth to 496 GB/s, a little shy of the 500 GB/s figure that could be easily attained with a little overclocking. Its core clocks are maintained at 1650 MHz base and a boost rating of 1815 MHz. It has a 250W TDP and will feature 8 Giga Rays per second worth of Ray Tracing horsepower.

Many tech analysts believe that the Nvidia RTX 2080 SUPER, in terms of performance, is faster than the Titan XP. This makes it much faster than the GTX 1080 Ti, the only card that the RTX 2080 could match. The Nvidia RTX 2080 is scheduled to release on July 23, and by then we can confirm if the leaks and speculations surrounding the device are accurate. And, just like all other leaks, it is smart to take this one with a pinch of salt.
